(Singing,
Praying, Learning All Together)
is our Sunday Children's ministry. The whole church family
gather together for the first part of worship and then those in
primary school go to "THE SPLAT ROOM"
until coffee-time. Carers are welcome to accompany their
children until they settle. For everyone's safety, all leaders go
through proper C.R.B. checks.
Escape youth group meet on
the first Sunday of every
month from 7.15 to 9.00pm on
church premises with occasional visits elsewhere, such as
Lydiard Park. It is open to young people of secondary school
and college age.
The programme
of events is varied and most of the programme is decided by the
members of Escape. Some past examples include a Bar-B-Q, film
night and Beach party (in the middle of winter of course). We
also celebrate Christian festivals like Easter, which involved a
whole lot of chocolate last year.
Bubbles Sunday pre-schoolers ministry
Is your child growing beyond
Crèche activities, but not yet old enough for Splat? Then
Bubbles could be the answer. We work with a flexible age group
from 2+, to give parents the opportunity to select the right
stage for their child to move on from Crèche. At Bubbles we use
Bible story Activity sheets, which the children take home each
week, along with creative activities and simple songs which are
specially designed for this age group. Our name, ‘Bubbles’
comes simply from the Scripture Union material we currently use
as our teaching aid and yes, we do sometimes have real Bubbles
as well to add to the fun!
Crèche
facilities are available on Sunday
mornings in the side vestibule, with an audio relay of the
worship. A welcome steward will happily introduce you to a
crèche leader. Again you can stay with your child or return to
worship.
